Here are some of my observations and takeaways from the Hadoop Summit ..

This is the first year that Hadoop is really ready for primetime.
Although all of the distributions are trying to differentiate themselves .. at this point, the only difference is maturity of their platform and by the end of the year the top ones will trickle to the top.
Hortonworks is definitely starting to move into business mode
