Hadoop Security .. Getting Addressed, Finally.

Security is always a core concern with any Hadoop deployment. Due to the nature of how Hadoop was architected .. the workarounds and current security best practices are lacking. This issue is finally being addressed. Here are a couple posts in the last week that show this trend.

The tools are still in their infancy, but the development community is heading in the right direction. Hadoop is becoming more “Enterprise Ready” on a daily basis.
